HOW WE HELP HOMESCHOOLERS

BUILDING COMMUNITY

We help connect families through upcoming events and activities. Some of our volunteers are mentoring moms who meet one-on-one with homeschoolers to discuss curriculum, scheduling and other topics of interest.

SUPPORT / GRADUATION

MPE sponsors several events each year, including Women’s Encouragement Day and a Used Curriculum Sale. Seniors of families who have been members of MPE for at least two years may participate in a homeschool high school graduation ceremony in the spring.

CONFERENCE & CURRICULUM FAIR

The conference helps provide families with motivation and tools for continuing the home education process. Well-known speakers from across the nation come to Kansas City for the conference each spring. Over 120 vendors participate in the curriculum fair, and multiple workshops address issues facing homeschooling families.

MPE NEWSLETTER

We publish a digital newsletter, The Parent Educator, regularly throughout the year. Each issue contains news of events, classes, and activities of interest to homeschoolers.
