The Parent Educator is mailed to approximately 1200 families each month.  All newsletter submissions must be received in writing in the MPE office by 1 p.m. on the 10th of the month preceding the issue date.  Paid ads and notices printed in our publications should be consistent with the MPE Statement of Purpose and are therefore subject to approval by an editorial committee selected from within or appointed by the Board of Directors.  Ads are published on a first-come, first-served basis as space allows.

Ad specifications are as follows:

1/8-page ad                   $37.50             2-1/4” V x 3-5/8” H  

1/4-page ad                   $75.00             4-3/4” V x 3-5/8” H  

1/2-page ad                   $150.00           4-3/4” V x 7-1/2” H  

Full-page ad                   $300.00           9-3/4” V x 7-1/2” H  

Borders match these specifications.  Printed ads must allow space within the border on each side.  If an ad does not fit within the border, it will not be printed.  

For long-term advertising, there is a discounted rate. Advertisers get a 20% discount for ten issues and a 10% discount for five issues with payment in advance.

Please submit ads via email in a Microsoft Word friendly format (.txt, .rtf, or .jpeg) or Adobe Acrobat .pdf format. Payment by check must be received by 1 pm on the 10th of the month preceding the issue date. Credit cards cannot be accepted.

If this is not possible, all 1/4-page ads or larger must be camera ready when received.
