MPE Mom's Night Out

Come fellowship at Mimi's Cafe next to Oak Park Mall at 6:30 p.m. on  the first Tuesday evening of every month.

MPE Men's Mentoring Meeting

Join Todd Kangas for an evening of encouragement in your role as a husband with the "Marriage Maintenance" series!

There will be some brief teaching at each meeting with time for men to share their best practices, ask questions and request personal prayer.

This meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. It usually meets on the third Monday of the month at the Kangas' home at 13016 W. 78th St., Lenexa, KS 66216.

bulletXtreme Gymnastics' (Lee Summit, MO) Homeschool Gymnastics Leotard and Gym Short Consignment Sale

Bring your child's outgrown leotards and gym shorts to the gym, labeled (described below) the week of May 5th-9th.

Leotards should be in good condition and priced between 25%-50% of original value depending upon condition. Please keep to whole numbers.

If you have a leotard that is still usable but has obvious wear we will have a $2 bin. These will not be consigned and the money will go towards the homeschooling gymnastics program.

Any unsold leotards will either be returned the week following the sale or donated to the homeschooling program. Leotards that are donated will be held and given to families, free of charge, that could use assistance in providing leotards for their children.

How to Label your item(s) for consignment:

Use a small standard size envelope, vertical orientation.

On one front side of an envelope write the following information (in this order) · Size of Item · Price of Item · Color or Colors of Item

One the back side of the envelope write the following information (in this order) · Day of Class · Time of Class · Name of Parent · If unsold, do you want to donate your leotard? Write "yes" or "no" only.

Safety pin the envelope to the upper left shoulder of the leotard. Do not use a straight pin.

"Come Sell, Swap, or Shop at Discovery Homeschool Academy’s annual Used Curriculum Book Sale and Scholastic Book Fair on Tuesday, May 13 at First Baptist Church of Raytown. Use the ROC café and bookstore entrance and we are in the atrium (next to the gym). If you would like to sell items in our book sale please contact us at discovery@firstbaptistraytown.com with your e-mail or address to reserve your table. We will e-mail or mail you a registration/information form which needs to be turned in no later than May 6th. Tables are $5.00. We will be marketing to all Discovery Homeschool Academy families (200 students), Families for Home Education leaders and groups, and the Midwest Parent Educators. Hope to see you there!"
