 | May 2008 Trip to London, England |
Would you like to bring history and literature alive for your student?
Then you might consider enrolling them in a trip of a lifetime to London,
England!
Molly Totoro, English teacher at Christ Prep Academy and Southland
Academy, is currently accepting student enrollments for her 2nd annual trip
to London, England in May, 2008. The first trip made such an impact on her
and the 12 students she chaperoned in March 2007 that she immediately booked
another trip for next year.
Students will visit such historical landmarks as Buckingham Palace for
the Changing of the Guard, Windsor Castle and the Tower of London. Students
will also have the opportunity to see the literary side of London when they
visit the Globe Theater, Stratford-on-the-Avon, and Bath (home of the Jane
Austen Centre). There is also plenty of free time to visit tourist sites as
well, such as Harrod’s, the West End Theater district (they saw the movie
Wicked in March), and Piccadilly Circus.
If you have any interest in learning more about this remarkable trip,
please contact Molly at (913) 780-6458 or at Mstermind1@comcast.net She
would LOVE to hear from you!

 | Help MPE Spread the Word about
Homeschooling to MOPS! |
MPE is currently looking for
homeschooling parents who would be interested in speaking at MOPS (Mothers
of Pre Schoolers) groups in the area. If you love homeschooling and sharing
your enthusiasm with others, then we would love to have you as one of our
promoters! We don't need very much of your time - just an hour or two. If
your children would like to speak as well, that would be great! Our reason
for doing this is to reach mothers with preschool aged children who may be
interested in or have questions about homeschooling. If you are interested,
please call Jackie Doyel at 913-422-8145 or e-mail her at
doyel@everestkc.net.
